At June 6, 2014, 4Life executives announced that Chiho Takahashi, Team Captain for Japan’s division one women’s soccer team Charme, has joined Team 4Life.
Chiho (#5) plays as a defender for Charme. Originally from Osaka, Japan, she stands at 5’7” and uses her height to her advantage to excel in the skill of heading the ball, which some consider among the most difficult skills to execute because it requires an accuracy to loft passes.
Club Charme is part of the Nadeshiko Football League (L-league), which enjoyed a surge in popularity after the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup win over Team USA.
Chiho and her forty-eight teammates each supplement with numerous 4Life products, including RightStart®, 4Life® NanoFactor® Glutamine Prime®, and NutraStart® Chocolate. Charme General Manager Shinji Oota: “No one on our team likes to lose. Therefore, we practice regularly, train hard, and take care of ourselves on and off the field with 4Life products.”
As a senior graduate student at Kibi International University, Chiho divides her time between studies and soccer. “Like my teammates, I’m always interested in improving my strength and stamina, as well my overall skills as a player. As our general manager pointed out, none of us like to lose,” shared Chiho. “4Life products are a great addition to the team’s wellness regimen and I’m proud to represent Club Charme as Team 4Life’s fifth female athlete and the first athlete from Japan.”
